Its that time of year again, when summers coming to an end and schools starting back up again!

We know this time of year is never the most fun, so we’re here to try and make it a little more enjoyable with a sale!

Two Wheels Flying High

So with the US Open right in our back yard, we decided to head down this morning for the BMX park practice for a few hours.

Always good to see athletes showing support to their fans!

With smiles on their face we figured they were up to something good….

Which turned out to be a follow the leader around the whole course getting everyone at the practice involved. Was pretty entertaining to see, definitely let them remember they are there to have fun!

Headed over to the skate practice before we took off. They had mini bowls for public use, pretty rad!

Then the main course. Practice had just started for skaters for there wasn’t much action going on just yet.

On our way out there was this big wall with writings all over it. Found out that each cut out of the wall would be made into furniture. We definitely had to make a pit stop and hit this up!

Sad to see that summer is wrapping up in its last months. Schools starting soon, warm weather drifting away and all work and no play starts all over again….

Step Four @ E3

Living near Los Angeles means you’re fortunate enough to have some pretty cool happenings come through your area. Last weekend one of those happenings….happened. E3, the Electronics Entertainment Expo, came to town and our friend and Step Four supporter Sam “Milkfat” Braithwaite was there to shake hands with his fans (Sam’s a pretty accomplished professional gamer. You can read more about his career here). Sam, being the awesome person he is, was rocking our Step Four logo tee during the event and so Step Four got to enjoy 5 minutes of TV fame along with Milkfat. Check out the video below to see Sam (and George Lopez’ bad jokes):

P.S. Lopez hooked up Sam with tickets to the Lakers’ Championship game so, bad jokes aside, he’s a pretty good dude.

Summer time and the … Waves are big?

Not very often is there big waves in southern California during the summer. But when there is it comes hard!

The past couple days a big storm has been hitting our shores, and The Wedge in Newport has show exactly what the storm has to offer.

I got a call mid afternoon yesterday about the surf from a couple friends, grabbed my camera told them I would meet them down there to do a shoot for them. As things happened that didn’t fall through but I stuck around for a couple hours to get some good shots to share… Enjoy!!

Although it may look like all fun and games … But this is a very serious wave and sometimes has very serious consequences!
