Mallory’s Munny’s

Posted on | June 27, 2010 | No Comments

One of our good friends Mallory  has been making custom sculpted Munnys for the past couple years ( all of which have been getting progressively better ).

This one of Freddy Krueger she just finished up and entered it into the Kidrobot Munny Munth contest in hopes of winning and being able to design a Dunny for the 2011 set.

Freddy Krueger Munny

Here is the first one that she ever created ( yes, I said the first Munny she ever made ). It’s Davy Jones from Pirates of the Caribbean. This was later sold to one of the guys that actually worked on the movies and was directly involved with the Davy Jones character.

Davy Jones Munny

Not sure if everyone will know what this one is, but it’s from the character Yubaba from the movie “Spirited Away”.

Last, but not least, she made a caricature Munny of her boyfriend Lance. Just goes to show how much detail she puts into each and every piece she works on!

Here is a Lance holding the mini-him just for reference and likeness.

So make sure to go onto the Kidrobot contest page and vote for her Freddy Krueger Munny. You may have to scroll through and find it, but it’s worth it!

Keep your eyes open, you may just see some art work from Mallory pop up in some coming projects here at Step Four.

Also check out the rest of her artwork from Illustrations, Sketches, Digital Work and more of her Sculpture projects on her Portfolio Site.

More From HellaFlush

Posted on | June 8, 2010 | No Comments

We rolled to HellaFlush with John from over at Stance:Nation. We’ve posted his HellaFlush 350z a couple times on here before. He has been repping StepFour since the beginning and helped us out a lot throughout the event!

He sent me over some photos he took of us/our stuff, as well as posted up the rest of his pictures on his write up on Stance:Nation.

Here is some of his pictures of us doing our thing!

Rolling down the freeway with our fixed gears fitted on the back.

Waiting in line with everyone in the caravan to get in.

Tyler setting up one of the many rounds of stickers

No more then 5 seconds the stickers are usually snatched up. Most of the time as we put them out people had heard about them and they don’t even make it on the car.

What it looked like for a couple seconds.

Hiding in the shade with the bikes locked to the trees, planning out our next attack!

And Johns car just because….

Both flsuh 350z’s repping StepFour stickers!

Check out the rest of John’s photos from the event over at his post on Stance:Nation here.

That’s HellaFlush

Posted on | June 6, 2010 | No Comments

I’m not gonna lie, Bret’s definitely the car guy of Step Four. I can appreciate a clean-looking ride, but when it comes to actual knowledge about cars, mine is limited. Regardless, I like to attend car shows every once in a while to see what’s new in the industry and what people are doing with what’s available. This weekend, the HellaFlush 5 car show took place at Venice beach and Step Four was definitely there to represent. I’ll let the pictures do the talking for a little bit:

Big thank you to Fatlace for holding this event. Also, another BIG thank you to everyone who swung by the StepFour-Mobile, grabbed some stickers, and showed us some love – we had to keep putting out stickers all day since you guys were eating them up! Keep a lookout for us this summer. You never know where we’ll pop up next!

P.S. This was too good to not post:

Welcome to the new Step Four site/blog/information center.

We’ve integrated our “HighStepping” section of the site right into the front page along-side our usual Step Four-related blog so now you get double the updates. There’s still a few bugs we have to work out, so if you notice anything funny, let us know about it by emailing info@stepfour.net.

Thanks for being patient while we tighten all the loose screws.

-Tyler

P.S. Summer’s just around the corner and Step Four definitely has some stuff lined up for you, so stay posted.
